Journey Of One Artist
I began making art again shortly after my father’s passing. I found the process of making art turned my sadness to joy. The outpouring of designs just kept coming. I was working on my dining room table at the time and the art overtook the room.
You Won’t Believe What is on the Backside of This!
This artwork was all about the front side … until it wasn’t. This picture represents a culmination of 16 hours of work with a new material. It was made of pigmented epoxy resin which gives the effect of enamel without the use of high temperatures.
Experiments
Alcohol ink is an intriguing medium I began experimenting with recently. It is very fast drying and works best on slick surfaces. I thought I might try it on canvas with gesso applied to keep the surface non porous.
